Thought I’d share a couple of photos from my recent trip to North Korea. These were taken in March, in two very different places. The black and white photo was taken just outside of Hamhung, a reasonably large town on the Country’s eastern coast, whilst the color snap was taken Kaechon, around 260 kilometers away.
And yet, it feels as if the two photos could have been taken side by side. The power lines and background “civilization” are strangely similar, and even the weather, almost a week apart, seemed to match. The black and white photo was initially snapped with a local farmer making his way across the shot, but sadly my ‘guides’ (North Korea’s infamous content controllers) made me delete it.
Worse still, I don’t know which photo I prefer, and I’d love to hear your thoughts! Drop your thoughts in the comments!
